Got an ADA demand letter?

Find out what's wrong with your website, fast.

Check the pages demand letters usually point to, for free, in under a minute. Then get a full accessibility audit with a prioritized fix list, delivered within 3 business days.

We're not lawyers, and nothing on this page is legal advice. If you've received a demand letter or a lawsuit, talk to a lawyer as well.

What to do in the first few days

  1. Step 1

    Don't ignore it

Letters usually come with a deadline. Note the date and the pages it mentions.

  2. Step 2

    Talk to a lawyer

Ideally one who has handled ADA website claims. We can't advise you on the legal side.

  3. Step 3

    Find the real problems

Check your actual pages. Installing a widget doesn't fix the code, and sites with widgets still get sued.

  4. Step 4

    Fix and keep records

Fix the issues in your site's code, and keep a dated record of what you found and changed.

Free instant check

Scans up to four pages against WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 Level AA. Enter full addresses starting with https://.

Free checks are limited to 5 pages per hour per visitor. Checkout pages that need a login or a full cart may not load for the scanner.

What you'll see

For each page: a score, how many problems were found and how serious they are, and the main problems in plain English. Automated checks find many accessibility problems, but not all of them. The paid audit adds a person checking your site with a keyboard and reviewing every result.

Emergency Accessibility Audit

A full audit and fix list in 3 business days

$299 one-time

What you get

  • An automated check of up to 10 pages you choose, including the pages named in your letter, against WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 Level AA.
  • A person reviews every result and tests your main path (for example, finding a product and reaching checkout) using only a keyboard.
  • A written report: every problem, where it is, why it matters, and how to fix it, ranked so your developer knows what to do first.
  • A dated PDF you can share with your developer and your lawyer.

Delivery and refunds

Your report arrives by email within 3 business days of payment. If it's late, you get a full refund. You can also cancel for a full refund any time before we start.

What it isn't

This audit isn't legal advice, and no audit or tool can promise that a claim will go away. It tells you what's wrong and how to fix it, and gives you a dated record of the work.

Order your audit

Please don't send us the letter itself. We only need the page addresses.

Your receipt and report go here.
Up to 10 addresses, one per line. Put the pages named in your letter first. If you leave this empty, we'll pick your key pages.
For example, "November 15". Helps us plan; it doesn't change the 3-day delivery.

Secure payment by Stripe. By ordering you agree to our Terms.

After the audit: keep it fixed

Websites change, and new problems creep back in. A WCAGGuard subscription lets you re-scan any page as often as you like, with a code-level fix for every issue and a VPAT-format report you can export. $19.99 a month, cancel anytime.

Questions

Is this legal advice?

No. We check your website for accessibility problems and explain how to fix them. For anything about the letter itself, your response or a settlement, talk to a lawyer.

Will this make the claim go away?

We can't promise that, and nobody honestly can. What the audit does is show you exactly what's wrong, so you can fix it, and give you a dated report showing what you found and when.

What standard do you check against?

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, plus the newer WCAG 2.2 Level AA checks. WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard most website accessibility cases and settlements refer to.

Why shouldn't I send you the letter?

We don't need it, and it may contain information that's best kept between you and your lawyer. The page addresses are enough for us to do the audit.

Can my developer use the report?

Yes. Every problem comes with where it is on the page and how to fix it, written for whoever builds or maintains your site.

What if the report is late?

You get a full refund. Your report is due within 3 business days of payment. You can also cancel for a full refund any time before we start.
